And we're off! 11/27
I like to get to the airport early. I can't help it. I can thank my mother for that. Andy likes to do things up to the last min. He can't help it. So we left for the airport later than I wanted. It won't be busy he says. It's a low travel day he says. He was right. Walked through the gate in 15 min thanks to Precheck.
My bag weighed a whopping 30# and his 35# which included all the school supplies. Damn maybe I should have brought more shit. Since I won't have two bags of wine this should feel like a breeze.
Time to spare for a quick bite of Japanese since we won't be eating raw fish for a while. I got dirty looks when I hacked up my lung from the fellow restaurant patrons. I hope this is the tail end of the cold. Stress, drinking and not exercising is a great regiment in prep for a major hike. Bring on the airplane germs.
Last night Andy suggested the $5/night hostel. F that! I'm upgrading us to the $12 room baby. Nothing but the best for us!l
Last 50 people to board and he has to go to the bathroom. Seriously dude? I'll have to adapt to looser time restrictions. I didn't sign my passport and the dude said I wouldn't be let back into the U.S. Jeez. I wish I wanted a drink but my cold doesn't agree w that thinking- yet.
Let the Xanax consumption commence!
