Day one is almost over

we had an amazing lunch with the Dr. from the school who has been helping us the whole time. Indian food is so good! now i just have to get mark to like it... that may be challenging. I had tea this morning with ice in it and so far I'm good to go. Maybe I have a stomach of steel?
We said we wanted to go shopping so they took us to the mall- which is like any other American mall unfortunately. Definitely need to hit up the markets later to get the real deal. I hate bargaining though.
I knew they have a caste system here, I'm pretty surprised though how people treat each other in in different castes. It's weird when at home I'm really nice to every one that waits on me- here they don't really treat the servers with much respect.
