Serengeti day 3 cheetahs!!! 10/7/18
We cruised around and saw a cheetah moms w her 2-3 babies playing. They were far off in the distance so it was hard to get a good picture. We saw them because we saw us much attention. They walked in the tall grasses and then crossed the road to the land that was burnt, no tall grasses, we had perfect views of their strong beautiful bodies. One of the most amazing things I’ve seen.
gazelles running faster than their normal spring. Then, as we drove down the road, we saw something on top of a dirt mound. It was 2 beautiful male cheetahs (brothers) sitting with their large chests out searching for food in the morning sun! We had them all to ourselves. We got closer and closer, they didn’t pay us much attention.

We wrapped up the morning tour with more lions and 2 alligators, one large and mostly out of the water and another one that was a baby with his mouth open.
Out of the Serengeti to the rim of Ngorongoro. It was a hell of a ride on the bumpy road for 4 hours. The crater was cool and moist, a nice change from the dry heat of the Serengeti. The campsite had a partial view of the crater. We pitched our tent in the middle of the grounds, away from the large groups. We relaxed in the sun while it lasted and tried to get some WiFi. Another huge dinner and bed early. Another fantastic day.
